All We've Got
03:07
|
|||
(Patrick)
Days come and days go
They move so fast but arrive so slow
Just like the rain, the snow pours
When that sun is shining, we’re sad no more
Don’t go, oh no
Not yet, my friend
We’ve got our ups
We’ve got our downs
We get back up just to fall back down
But we, we give it all
And we, we stand up tall
And we, we don’t back down ‘cause we’re all we’ve got
Days come and days go
Well, I’ve got hope like no one knows
Don’t lose your faith
You’ve got time to fix mistakes
Don’t go, oh no
Not yet, my friend
We’ve got our ups
We’ve got our downs
We get back up just to fall back down
But we, we give it all
And we, we stand up tall
And we, we don’t back down ‘cause we’re all we’ve got

Antisocial Traffic
03:52
|
|||
(Patrick)
Bombs burst and then I’m frozen
These daily cycles never end
Moving backwards in a forward motion
I’m trying not to give in
Spun around in all directions
I don’t know where to begin
Found the answer but lost the question
All this anxiety within
I can’t go to sleep
But, I’ve got nightmares on my mind
I’m out here counting sheep
But, I’ve got to much too little time
This city plays for keeps
But, I’m trying not to fall down
It’s sink or swim in these streets
It’s hard to stay above ground
I’ve got these antisocial habits
And I can hardly stand it
When the whole world’s falling down on me
It’s like I’m stuck in traffic
‘Cause nothing seems to happen
When the whole world’s falling down on me
Bombs burst and then I’m frozen
These daily cycles never end
Moving backwards in a forward motion
I’m trying not to give in
Spun around in all directions
I don’t know where to begin
Found the answer but lost the question
All this anxiety within
I’ve got these antisocial habits
And I can hardly stand it
When the whole world’s falling down on me
It’s like I’m stuck in traffic
‘Cause nothing seems to happen
When the whole world’s falling down on me

My Life
02:42
|
|||
(Patrick)
These days just pass me by
I’ve got that bloodshot in my eyes
I don’t know what I did
I think I fucked up as a kid
But I will be okay
I think I’ll make it out someway
This ain’t a game we play
This is a thing that we call “life”
Until the sun goes down for good
You’ll see me hustle in my ‘hood
This is my nine to five
Surviving day and night
This ain’t a game
Oh no it’s not
This is life
My life
They’ve got these pills for you
They take your cash, they sell you booze
I know it’s sad but true
Ain’t this the land of the free
But all we do is crime
You’ve gotta kill to make a dime
And I’m okay with that
I ain’t gonna starve tonight
Until the sun goes down for good
You’ll see me hustle in my ‘hood
This is my nine to five
Surviving day and night
This ain’t a game
Oh no it’s not
This is life
My life
These are my struggles
I wear them on my face
So now I hustle
I work everyday
This ain’t no puzzle
I just lost my way
And all my troubles
I light and smoke them all away
Until the sun goes down for good
You’ll see me hustle in my ‘hood
This is my nine to five
Surviving day and night
This ain’t a game
Oh no it’s not
This is life
My life

Who I Wanna Be
01:55
|
|||
(Drew)
Looking back to a place where I used to be alive
Now I feel shame and I have been deprived
Of everything I wanted and everything I need
The person that I am, or who I want to be
What have I seen, fill the empty spaces and
You have to be look between
Of a new life, that I have seen and I know that it’s nice
The places that I go
The faces that I see
All of them remind me of
Who I wanna be
Stop stop stop I don’t want to grow up
I just wanna stay young, what’s the point of getting old
'Cuz I have so much fun and I don’t wanna quit
Just playing music and keeping it legit
I say I know, what I wanna do and I will stay true
To my own self, cuz I can’t do something
Unless I have it in my mind
The places that I go
The faces that I see
All of them remind me of who I wanna be

Midwest Dreams
04:18
|
|||
(Patrick)
Nowhere is where we’re from kid
Get knocked down, get back up my friend
These Midwest cities are full of dreams
Sunflowers and empty highways
No oceans, only skylines
These Midwest cities are full of dreams
(Sean)
We used to walk down on the Southside
As Tim and “Rise” were jammin’ at the Fireside
These Midwest cities are full of dreams
From Kansas City over to Cleveland
We try to break free from the fuckin’ heartland
These Midwest cities are full of dreams
Best friends and miles on the road
Memories and smiles on the go
Heartaches and late nights on the phone
Never giving up and crawling back home
Grow up or move out of this town
That’s what they said when we were young
These Midwest cities are full of dreams
A suitcase and a full tank of gas
They said we’re going nowhere fast
These Midwest cities are full of dreams
Best friends and miles on the road
Memories and smiles on the go
Heartaches and late nights on the phone
Never giving up and crawling back home
Lost souls and wrong turns on the map
Tough times but never losing our minds
These Midwest cities are full of dreams
Best friends and miles on the road
Memories and smiles on the go
Heartaches and late nights on the phone
Never giving up and crawling back home

Don't Ever Fold
03:44
|
|||
(Patrick)
I think it’s time to go
Explore life on that open road
Get lost just to find your soul
Best advice I was told
Put on a sweater when your heart gets cold
When there’s no aces left in your deck
Still don’t ever fold
(Joey)
I think it’s time to change
Break it down and completely rearrange
Let down your guard and let in the strange
Best advice I’ve been bestowed
Give in to love and let hatred lose control
You won’t always like what the mirror reflects
Still don’t ever fold
I think it’s time to know
We all struggle with those uphill goals
Get tough just to hold your own
Best advice I was sold
Don’t wait to be young until you get old
When your plane crashes down or your ship wrecks
Still don’t ever fold

Meet Me At The Arcade
03:22
|
|||
(Matt)
Oh, when the season starts to fade
And dawn is coming near
Hear the drum of that parade
Oh, how it all changed since last year
(Patrick)
Bicycles and hooded shirts
Exhaled smiles for what it's worth
Dodged and ducked that coming age
Will you meet me at the arcade
Meet me at the arcade
We've played it once, we'll play it twice
Meet me at the arcade
I've got this token, an extra life
Race to get the highest score
On all the games we play
Try every drink they serve
If we die, we'll just hit play
Spawn and try that fight again
Even if we just can't win
There's a spot, I've got you saved
Will you meet me at the arcade
Meet me at the arcade
We've played it once, we'll play it twice
Meet me at the arcade
I've got this token, an extra life
Meet me at the arcade
Wasted days and wasted nights
Meet me at the arcade
I've got this token, an extra life
Oh, when the season starts to fade
And dawn is coming near
I hear the drum of that parade
Oh, how it all changed since last year
Bicycles and hooded shirts
Exhaled smiles for what it's worth
Dodged and ducked that coming age
Will you meet me at the arcade
Meet me at the arcade
Meet me at the arcade
Don't we have time for
Just one more play
One more try
One more chance
One more coin
Meet me at the arcade
We've played it once, we'll play it twice
Meet me at the arcade
I've got this token, an extra life
Meet me at the arcade
Wasted days and wasted nights
Meet me at the arcade
I've got this token, an extra life

Dear Brother
04:52
|
|||
(Patrick)
Everybody knows that we don’t play no games
Though our fists are kinda tough, our hearts are kinda tame
And we live and we learn and we play and we work
Until the day we die, until I’m in that dirt
I will love and I’ll laugh and I won’t give it back
All those good times that we’ll have, and don’t forget the past
We were just these little kids with our hearts there on our sleeve
And our father wasn’t home so we played out in these streets
Oh yes we did
I’ve got your back every time you come around
And you’ve got my back every time I hit the ground
I’ve got your back every time you need a friend
And you’ve got your back until the very end
Now everybody says that we’re no good for each other
But don’t nobody know me like you do my brother
We can sit and tell these stories of our sister and our mother
But don’t act like they’re against us ‘cause we ain’t got us another
And we can’t forget our lovers and that man we call our father
Though he wasn’t always there he taught us like no other
Now I have all of my family and can’t forget my friends
Because without either one of them my life would be quite over
Yes it would
I’ve got your back every time you come around
And you’ve got my back every time I hit the ground
I’ve got your back every time you need a friend
And you’ve got your back until the very end
Now that everything is dead it’s time to start our lives all over
Now that Summer’s coming to an end and Autumn’s on our shoulders
You were everything I needed in the past and in the present
You will always be my friend, I will not take that shit for granted
No I won’t
I’ve got your back every time you come around
And you’ve got my back every time I hit the ground
I’ve got your back every time you need a friend
And you’ve got your back until the very end

Dreamwalker
03:30
|
|||
(Patrick)
I’m waking up in a dream
Where everything is not what it seems
I’m lost in a maze of lies
Confused head with a fucked-up state of mind
I can’t think straight and my thoughts have gone
Left to right and from right to wrong
I don’t hear words and my sight is blind
I guess this happens all the time
I’ve got these words on the edge of my tongue
They won’t come out like a night with the sun
Don’t say a word let your heart do the talking
I never sleep I just dream when I’m walking
I’m waking up once again
In this dream of make believe and pretend
I don’t think that you fully get
What it is that you had and what you’ll regret
I’ve got these words on the edge of my tongue
They won’t come out like a night with the sun
Don’t say a word let your heart do the talking
I never sleep I just dream when I’m walking

Goodbyes Tonight

|

(Patrick)
Here we are singing our goodbyes tonight
Everything, everything is not alright
Here we are singing our goodbyes tonight
So long, good luck to your new life
Here we are singing our goodbyes tonight
I can see, I can see through your glass eyes
Here we are singing our goodbyes tonight
I’ll be, I’ll be, I’ll be just fine
