Hey! Yeah you'll be ok Stop living in the night you'll be quite alright You'll be a-ok I said hey! Yeah you'll be ok Don't worry when they talk They only like to talk 'cause they hate themselves Here you are, you're lonely once again Don't worry one day this will end And you got what you need tonight So don't, don't, don't believe the hype Sex, drugs, and all sorts of pills I know just how they make you feel But you got what you need tonight So don't, don't, don't believe the hype Hey! Yeah you'll be ok Don't worry how you dress you're not born to impress You'll be a-ok I said hey! Yeah you'll be ok You're doing what you can and what you can is all you're doing You'll be a-ok Step one: you gotta find your faith Achieve your goals just don't stand in place Step two: is always up to you Stay true do what you wanna do Step three: you gotta learn to laugh Forgive and forget the past Step four: you gotta make a change If you want your life to rearrange Hey girl, I see you're happy now You got a smile wider than a cloud And you got what you need tonight So don't, don't, don't believe the hype

You're falling backwards down a wishing well Your life's going straight to hell And everyone can tell Everyone but yourself Until the day I die Promise I won't leave your side Honestly and faithfully I don't like it when we fight I know just what you're thinking And this life will always keep on moving This record keeps on spinning Playing this soundtrack for the rest of our lives A new day, a new time More words, a different line Gotta get this off my chest Before it puts me to rest Hold up, wait a sec Don't speak just yet Being wrong feels right sometimes But sometimes ain't always right We're playing this soundtrack for the rest of our lives I know just what you're thinking And this life will always keep on moving This record keeps on spinning Playing this soundtrack for the rest of our lives

It took 3 whole months, to realize that I had something great And like any true romantic would, I fucked it up and I gave it away And now I live with that, every minute of every day I sit here alone at night, wondering if you're missing our ways But I can't hate, on how everything turned out wrong Wrong for me at least I'd say, but we live to see these better days And I'll get by, yeah I'll be good and fine With these strings and these songs I sing, I trust nothing but these melodies This is the ballad of a true romantic A love so sweet, but a story so tragic It fell apart when we both got frantic I blame her words, but also my tactics This is the ballad of a true romantic A love so sweet, but a story so tragic It fell apart when we both got frantic It fell apart yeah, we fell apart It's been 6 full months, since I've seen her or those eyes And damn do I miss that sight, but then again they made me cry Now I'll stand strong, you won't knock me down again And though we may get along, this trust has burned from both our ends This is the ballad of a true romantic A love so sweet, but a story so tragic It fell apart when we both got frantic I blame her words, but also my tactics This is the ballad of a true romantic A love so sweet, but a story so tragic It fell apart when we both got frantic It fell apart yeah, we fell apart I stood by you through those days The early mornings and the late night stays And now I'm stuck with this memory The kind that won't ever go away You had my heart and you had my soul (this is my ballad, you've heard it once) You let it go when the wind got cold (now hear it twice while I scream my lungs) I don't think that I'll ever know (this is my ballad, you've heard it once) Why you left me here alone (now hear it twice while I scream my lungs)

Second Place 03:24
Friday night at a show Don't wanna take you home "Oh no" that's what I said Got these feelings in my head I pick you up at five thirty We're smoking by five thirty one We have so much fun The night is young and so are we I don't know what to do I don't have a fucking clue I think I'm falling for you But you won't fall down there with me too I pick you up from school Hopefully everything's still cool I just want to be the guy You think about all day and night Well I know I'm not the number one guy That's always stuck on your mind But second place, it ain't so bad Or so they tell me all the time I don't know what to do I don't have a fucking clue I think I'm falling for you But you won't fall down there with me too
5.
You're leaving tomorrow But I'm gone today Your heart's full of sorrow With the words you'll never get to say I'm out on the road while you're home all alone I'm at another show while you're packing up to go You say that you don't care but I know you do Remember you once shared the same feelings as I do I just want you here, I need you very near Won't you hold my hand, hear my heart and understand All that I do, I do it for you Won't you open up your eyes and finally realize When I'm around, you say I'm in the way But when I'm about to leave, you beg me to stay I don't comprehend, I'm confused in-between Mean what you say by saying what you mean to me I just want you here, I need you very near Won't you hold my hand, hear my heart and understand All that I do, I do it for you Won't you open up your eyes and finally realize Here we are singing our goodbyes tonight Everything, everything is not alright Here we are singing our goodbyes tonight So long, good luck to your new life Here we are singing our goodbyes tonight I can see, I can see through your glass eyes Here we are singing our goodbyes tonight I'll be, I'll be, I'll be just fine

I met your eyes two years ago from this day They were so bright even though the sky was gray But they let me down just like the years before Now I'm on the road and I'm searching forevermore I need a sign to let me know that'll I'll be fine I heard a voice, it cued in right on time But the words I heard were not what I needed I lost some battles but I'm not quite defeated I don't know what it is that I want from you I don't know what it is that I want from life I'm trying hard not to be emptiness I'll give it all if you give me one more try I met your eyes two eyes ago from this day They were so wide that they put a smile on my face But like the past it always seems to come around That empty feeling when you're dead and on the ground I don't know what it is that I want from you I don't know what it is that I want from life I'm trying hard not to be emptiness I'll give it all if you give me one more try These nights are longer than all these days These days are longer when you're gone and away These city lights are brighter than both my eyes My eyes are brighter when I'm standing by your side I don't know what it is that I want from you I don't know what it is that I want from life I'm trying hard not to be emptiness I'll give it all if you give me one more try

about

This album was recorded in a basement studio in St. Joseph, MO from October-December 2016. This EP is consisted of 2 re-recorded songs from my very first solo album and 4 newer songs. The artwork concept is due to my love of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. Enjoy the songs my friends.
