about

Here's a song that I've always liked and never knew what to do with it. This is the original idea I had for this track, but more recently I've done an updated version of this song with keys and strings for a future upcoming EP that I have in the works.

lyrics

Here we go again tonight, just me and you and the stars up in the sky.
Everybody wants to know my life, I spill my secrets on this mic.
I've done some things that were not good, but who has always done the things they should?
I've popped the pills, I've drank the booze, I lost the girl, the one whose name was you.

The sun is bright, it shines in the sky, it's hard to see the light when your eyes cry.
I've got a voice I'll sing it loud, you will not shut me down or put me out.
The politicians think they know what's best for me and you, it's all a show.
I'm a working man just like my dad, I believe in the family that I have.
